U.S. and British soldiers recently completed the fourth iteration of the Project Flytrap exercise, held at both the Hohenfels Training Area in Germany and the Bemowo Piskie Training Area near Elk, Poland. This multinational training event was designed to enhance joint readiness and refine strategies for countering the growing threats posed by unmanned aerial systems on today’s battlefield. Through realistic scenarios and integrated operations, participants worked to strengthen interoperability, improve detection and engagement capabilities, and ensure that both forces remain prepared to confront and neutralize drone-based threats in future conflicts.
